hello I have a specific case I have gone canada (Quebec) on 12 June 2011 as a permanent resident my wife it was my sponsor .And I have stayied till now in canada and now I'm back in my contry after one weak i have come here and we had problems during my time in Canad in our marriage and she has cheated me and said go to your own country and I will be back in my in canada becaus she said to my go and see your family there .But she had hidden all documents including the PRC, and when I returned to my contry my there was no stopping in canada and measure i come here i see that I have no evidence and she said that will give end our marriage and now we are sepereted .Me i'am in my country and I dont have nothing just my passport and nothing else and I want to launches an application for a travel document but but do not know if emmbasy isued to my a travel document becaus i dont have any proof of canada and if the emmbasy ask my for soemthing i dont now how to tacket that from canada becaus my ex-wife dosen't speak with my any more just i have my uncle in alberta.i have work in quebec 8 month i have pay taxes and now i'm used there and i wone go back what can i do ,and my wife sayt to my he has tacket a lower to brok my permanent rezidenc.pleas help i'm confused.becuas my contry neded a viza to enter in canada.just i'm thinking to bay a ticket and to go to the border of canada i dont now???help/

I don't understand why you left to go to another country without taking your PR card with you. This was a mistake. How did you plan to come back?

What you need to do now is apply for a travel document and just tell them the truth. There is no reason to tell a long story. Just say that you and your wife had an argument and she took your PR card and landing papers. Therefore you need a travel document to return to Canada as is your right as a PR.

-But can emmbasy of Ca.isued my a travel document to go back to Ca.just with my passport i think they can go thru my contry passport to the my file in immigration and to isued my the travel dc.becaus if they question to my another papers for travel document i cant isued becaus i dont have nobody in Quebec.

They can issue your travel document, yes.

i have and one question becaus i'm not used with this thing.i have completd the aplicattion for Travel document,but i dont have with my the landing paper and i have forget the number of Confirmation of Permanent Rezidenc and in my aplication i dont have that number cna be this to refuz my aplication???

Where are your landing papers? Is there anybody where you keep them that could scan them and send you the scan so you will have the necessary information? If not, write a cover letter with your application for travel document stating that you don't have the landing papers with you and don't know the number. Tell them the date and city you landed and send them a scan of your passport, both the PR visa and the page where it has your picture.

Hi Leon.

My situacion hase changed now my wife want my to be together with him and she is ready to e-mail my PR Card in my contry.But i have subited already the aplicattion for Travel doc.and together with the aplication and my my birth contry passport and i have no news.if i accept to say YES my wife and she send my my PR card i dont have passport to travel to Canada and what can be here wrong.
i'm very confused for this situacion i need your advice what can i do.if i say yes i can ask a new passport from my contry but what can hapening in the emmbasy with my status of permanent rezidenc.

Wait until your wife sends you the PR card. Then contact the embassy and tell them that you now have your PR card and it has been mailed to you so you do not need the travel document any more and would like your passport back. Then wait for them to mail it back.

If you landed in 2011, they can not refuse the travel document because it is not possible for you to have breached the residency requirements yet because you are allowed to be outside Canada for up to 3 years in any 5.

yes Leon thats right i have landed in 2011 like permanent rezidenc today i have accept a call from emmbasy and tomorrow i will goo to pick up the document i dont now it is in that documents trv or soemthing ells so tomoorw i will gif to you a news i hop a good news.

If you get the travel document, then go back to Canada but do not let your wife pressure you.

If the embassy asks you where is your PR card, tell them the truth. You never want to lie to immigration. It is not worth it.

Hi Leon good news.

today i received my passport with a stamp visa inside in that visa is wraiting category Permanent Rezidenc :Entry One i have waiting a travel document but i think and this it is like a travel document i should i will dont have probleme boarding for canada.

Hi Leon long time no speak with you sorry.Now i'm in Alberta and living here but now i wone aplying for Pr card but i have aplaied already for true copy for Confirmation Of Permanent Residenc when this arrivs what another document should i ned to aplly for PR card.
