Why you've submitted IMM 5257 (temporary resident visa)? When you got mail to submit original passport and when you received it back?

Details of my financial section documents:

Page 1: A letter from my father that he is responsible for my study and stay in Canada and he signed it too. I provided a net balance of his liquid assets(SAVINGS+ FIXED DEPOSIT) in a tabular form in INR and finally in the last row..showed the sum and wrote an approximate amount in CAD$

Page 2:4 month statement of Account XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX( 3 sub-pages, what I mean is that it took 3 pages to scan the papers under this section)

Page 3:A final bank statement of Account XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX ( signed by the branch manager)

Page 4:4 month statement of Account YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY( 2 sub-pages, what I mean is that it took 2 pages to scan the papers under this section) )

Page 5:A final bank statement of Account YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY ( signed by the branch manager)

Page 6:Income Tax return statement of my father's.. (annual income tax)

According to the questionnaire I filled up for my student visa.. under the optional documents a section for TRV came automatically.. i filled it up..and uploaded it...I do not know much honestly..but as far as I knew that being an Indian..i will need my TRV...which I may not opt to fill it out myself..in that case it gets automatically filled up and issued from the embassy.. but as it came under my optional documents..i filled it myself without thinking much.... IGNORANCE IS BLISS


p.s. I submitted my online application on 12th june and received my passport request on 16th june..submitted my passport to the local VFS centre on 22nd June( got busy with other works).. and received an e-mail today that my passport has been released from New Delhi today ...logged into my CIC account through GC key and found out that it was mentioned that my study permit application has been approved.... ( in a table on the page of my account)....

Hoping to receive my passport tomorrow...(26th june)

Is it necessary to submit educational documents as letter of explanation for online study Visa application??? I haven't uploaded these docs in CIC website since its not mandatory. I have paid visa fees now. Please help.

I made the same mistake what should I have to do now? Please help me some Im in confused state.

I am from India

I am going to pursue MBA+MSc from VIU.

For financial documents, I have submitted gic, ITR of all family members. Show your liquid cash plus lic(maturity amount)fd etc etc figure in CAD on application form. Don't submit the proof.

Tuition for 1st sem is paid.

I have not uploaded sop, ielts score but I strongly suggest you to submit it along with all else marksheets, degree certificate etc.

Case may vary by visa officer.

Hi All,
I am planning to submit my study permit application via "Online Non - SDS" category. However, I am not able to see any fields to upload my "Educational Transcripts" and "Language score" under "Non - SDS" category where as in the "SDS" sections its available. Should I attach the same under "Letter of Explanation" field or is it not required for "Non-SDS" category ?

Any suggestions and advises would be highly appreciated. Thanks In Advance.
