Necessary Account Statement? Is useful ?

Hi, I am applying for a visitor visa for my parents they already came to Canada in 4 times in the past, but since their visa has expired I am apltying a new one to them , I am a Permanent Resident in Canada. I check the documents and one is checked as "optional" is the Account Statement. I would like to know according to your experience is a big difference between sending this information or not? Helps really? Thanks for you opinions

Account statement

No (optional) – visa application

This can help us understand if you have enough money to support yourself during your stay in Canada.

Bank name and contact This allows us to contact your bank or financial institution with questions. Proof it is your account Your name and address on the statement show that the account is yours. Account details At least 6 months of account details, including balances, helps us understand your financial situation.
