Hi Sarathuob,

NDVO does not issue PER. CIO (Sydney, Canada) issues PER. Once you receive PER, your file gets transferred to your respective visa office (NDVO in our case).

Once NDVO receives your file, they do background verification and decide whether they wish to conduct a visa interview. Once all this is done, NDVO issues MR/ PCC/ RPRF request.

And at the final stage, NDVO issues PPR request :D

Hope this helps ;D

YEA I KNW I KNW IT WAS MY MISTAKE WHILE TYPING :D THE FILE WILL BE TRANSFERRED TO NDVO AFTER GIVING PER . ANYWAY ITS A VISA OFFICE :D :D ;D

No problem buddy :D.. I just thought of clarifying.. especially for the newbies on the forum ;D

DEAR FRIENDS MY FRIEND JUST GOT A MAIL, ALL APPLICATIONS UNDER FSW APPLIED AFTER JULY 2014 (UNDER PROCESS NO PAYMENT CHARGED YET) ARE TRASFERRED TO NEW EXPRESS ENTRY SYSTEM, INCLUDING HIS APPLICATION, HE RECEIVED MAIL FROM CIC THROUGH HIS AGENT. NOW HE NEED TO APPLY FRESH FROM START ..

There is no such circular from CIC. Sorry, but this information cannot be trusted and should not be trusted.

Following is an extract from the FAQ segment of Express Entry from CIC's "Official" website:

7. What will happen to permanent residence applications you receive before the launch of Express Entry?

Applications received by CIC before the launch of Express Entry will be processed according to the rules in place at that time.

I just checked with my Bank and they have informed that the DD for RPRF has been cleared on 18.11.2014. Just wondering why PPR is taking too long?

I have recieved my PER on 28 Jan, 2015. Should I go ahead and apply for PCC now? I believe getting an appointment at Passport Office will take 2-3 weeks. How long will the PCC be valid?

Absolutely. Go ahead with your PCC. There is no reason to wait.

NOC 0111
NDVO

I have sent my new employer details to NDVO along with PCC of self and spouse.

Thank you for your inputs, Nishesh. I will go ahead and apply for PCC ;D

I was only worried because on the CIC website it is mentioned that the PCC that you submit should not be 3 months old. Assuming I get my MR/PCC request in April, PCC would have been around 3 months old by the time I submit. Thats why I was a little confused
