my timeline is :
21 July 2017- application received
8 sep 2017 -uci number
9 Sep 2017-aor
21 sep 2018 -medical request
27 sep 2018 -medical done
2 oct 2018- medical pass and background check in process (gckey) and (ecas) decision made
3 oct 2018(today)-pre arrival service letter
can anyone tell me what is background check? and what is this prearrival letter for?
and
when i will receive passport request?

Hi ,
Last week i met few friends of friends in Canada , who came via PNP outland, they just arrived like Month earlier .
As per them , after medical results has been updated it only takes another 15 days for Ppr. Hopefully who got medical done in September , got Ppr within October . Its just basic calculations. Lets see rest when it will be.

Congratulations for gertget PPR that's awesome news !!. Your July 2017 applicant right.
Can you tell me whether you mailed Delhi office or raised cse to them recently if so how many times and did they ever properly reply to you ?.
I'm Aug 2017 applicant , did not hear on remedicals till today though we mailed multiple times to them telling them it's expired and on further plus rprf request also not received.
When u got remedicals and was it via call they called first or they emailed you and tokd to do.

Please help me to understand abovr answers it may help me to knke
