Really but on this forum it doesn't seems like that. May the words of your consultant friend come true and we get some response from cic soon. May god have mercy on us and bless him. By the way I have suggestion to also add a coloumn of destination in our excel sheet.

Hi

There are only few members here who are
Active and on that basis we cant say that cic delhi
Is working slow.
You can add that column
Hope we get our visa in this month
:)

I dont know if its only for me, I have some good news and some bad news.

CIC has processed my application and have requested Medicals to be done for me and my wife, but they rejected my son's application for Visitor permit, they have asked him to apply under student permit. >:(

I have now appointment for Tuesday and thankfully, the centre is e-medical ready and hopefully they process it faster.

Thanks for your kind and positive words Fasuu and Foruaks....

Hope to get everything done in smoother fashion.

Hello

Congrats
Just want to know that in the tracker u didnt
Mention about spouse and son. Please update
It correctly
Also please tell me
How did cic delhi communicate with you
Was it by email or sms

Thanks

Hello Fasuu.... Since I have applied it online, the message was in the CIC online page, however, I received a mail notification stating that there is a message in your CIC inbox.

The mail didnt state anything regarding the status, I had to login to the CIC website and then open the PDF file to see these messages.

P.S - I have also updated the spreadsheet accordingly.

One more query, does it really matter what is our port of entry if the location for which the LMO is issued is NOT a port of entry?

For example, if my LMO location is Edmonton, can I enter Canada through Toronto or Vancouver?

Your advice is appreciated.

Yes...you can enter through any port but you should work for the same company and same location stated in LMO.

Reason: Your WP will state your employer, position/NOC code and your location. If caught cheating, you may be questioned.
If your employer asks you to work in another location (same employer), then it is okay. Anything you do must be justifiable...........I have seen many escaping but anyone can be caught :)

I don't think there is any reason to question Bigbee's motive for asking as I am sure Edmonton would not be a potential port of entry for many international flights. Just have your onward ticket in hand and you should have I problems. Don't forget your long johns and parka!!!

Thank you Saini and Pippin, the first time when I got Work Permit approved, the physical Work Permit paper was issued at the Calgary airport, similarly I am assuming that this time as well the physical work permit paper will be issued at the port of entry.

Since Edmonton is closer to Calgary and if I enter through Vancouver, will the officer question this is my doubt.

One more query, my PR (CEC) is also closer to being processed (I applied in Dec 2012), what will happen if both TWP and PR clashes in terms of Medicals and other processes?

Hello

Any updates guys

Hi

As of now it says under processing

Congrats buddy..... happened to see it late. But it is a good news and quite encouraging for all of us. Dont worry about your sons visa, as its going to happen eventually. I cannot say it as a rejection as it was wrongly applied.

Thanks for updating us and make sure you timely update the spread sheet after getting your visa.

Regards ..... Way to go .....
