ND Work Permit Processing Time since February 2012?

The hospital representatives informed me that everything will be sent online. I received only a bill with a number for my reference(The Apollo Heart Centre, Greams Road). So no I need not send anything via VFS. Even for my husband we didnt send anything through VFS.

Dear all , I am planning to file open work permit Spouse, my husband is presently in SK canada. I have a small querry. As heard w can do medicals upfront, do we need medicals for an 8 year old and 9 year old child..

The hospital has different packages for kids and adults. So you may have to check with them for specific instructions.

today my application complied 5 month and 5 days .still no refusal or no medical request ... my 1st refusal in Feb 2013 .then i reapply in march with same LMO with additional letter from my employer ....my lmo was expire in April ....but till today their is no reply from high commission...Do you think Still i have chance ....now i m Frustrate.... :-\ don't know what is in my destiny... is anyone who give me some hope ? :'(

I understand how much it could be frustrating.
1. If your application is not refused yet, then it is a positive sign.
2. Usually the application will be processed within 6 months, did you try raising case specific inquiry? If not please submit your query in this link - https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=new delhi

Something will work out within 6 months.

Gg77. It is hard to wait and with the strike issues overlaying the whole process I don't know if there is any consistency to the process right now. As Niruban reassured, an app in process is worth more than two refusals in the hand.
As for anyone who submitted an app, as long as the LMO was valid on the date it was received at CIC, it is good. The downside of the delay is that it doesn't give you the opportunity to reapply on the same LMO if the first app has deficiencies.

received text on 25/04/13.

email received for Medical from CIC on 30/08/13

status on VFS website :-

"Passport has been dispatched through Courier via Airway Bill #:. You can track your passport Status by visiting the website: www.bluedart.com.
Note: The airway bill no. will be updated on the website by the next working day from the dispatch date of your passport.Incase of Hold Passport Request: Your Passport has been held on Request at Delhi OC."

does anyone know what the above status means ? coz passport is already at the embassy and if it is why would they dispatch it before they receive medical ... can some one please explain.
