My hubby got his medical req today ...applied for sowp on april 15 from chd...

Congratulations!!! Did your husband submitted any letter request by VFS or by email or fax to CHD embassy to expedite the process? or he was just waiting??

My wife is planning to submit a letter through VFS after waiting for 3 months (i.e. till Sept 12 as she applied on June 12th). Hope she gets her visa before Sept 12th.

Thx....Due to strike they r taking 4-5 months to process d files.....they hv a standard reply of their emails i.e processing time chart....if u chk all d sowp cases of chd in excel sheet all of them have got their medicals in 4-5 months....so till d time strike is not over u and ur spouse hv to wait for atleast till sept end....n moreover student visas r over n now they r focusing on work permit visas... So might b ur spouse will get her medical or visa very soon....all d best....

How much time does it take for visa after MR?

Going by the trend for mr received after or around 19th august, they have issued it in a week's time.but still march, april people who have completed medicals are still waiting.

So I will peg it around 5 - 10 days from the time one has completed medicals. ;D

I had also applied for food counter attendant and my visa has been rejected same as your reason.
1. Purpose of visit
2. Financial status and personal assets
3.Current employment situation

My LMO is still valid but i am not interested to reapply when i looked at your old posts you said your LMO expired in July. If your LMO has been expired how you gona apply again??

But sometime they look at our marital status and travel history, for me these doesn't make any sense I am married and i worked 8 years in South Africa still they refused my visa.

My first name and last name is there in LMO
However my middle name is not in LMO

Does it make any difference

My husband recd his medical on mail n also recd a call frm cic,chandigarh bcas he has submitted his sowp file directly in chd embassay....

I also did my medicals in chennai today (Apollo Heart Centre) and here they told my reports will be uploaded online. So the wait begins... :-X :-X

They told me that the medical will be sent within 48hrs so lets keep our finger crossed....
