As long as your application was RECEIVED before the end date of the LMO you are ok. It doesn't have to be processed BY that date.

No u'll not receive your passport back. They will usually send passport back for minors as they don't have their ID proof which is required for medical processing by the hospital.

Major applicants usually have their alternate ID proofs.

Hospitals have online system on which they upload our medical results.
We will receive a hard copy for each applicant containing information that we have appear & completed the medical process.

Reports of Blood sample, x-rays will not be handed over to us.

So everything is taken care of and as an applicant we do not have to send anything to the Embassy...correct?

Or do we need to send the hard copy of completed medical process through vfs?

I know hospital sends the reports directly. Do we need to send the medical receipt through vfs? If yes should it be original or photo-copy?

in IMM1017(MR) Form written instructions are like this " once your medical has been completed the doctor will forward the medical results to CIC "

I applied for OWP for my spouse and TRV for my daughter on March 18th. I got the medical request today.

I have submitted the medicals during the application itself.. So I'm not sure why I got another request..

Anyways, We are doing the medicals again.. Finally some hope that things are moving..

No, through VFS I got sealed cover inside MR form only, it came on last Friday(19th July) and I collected today. And Canada-India-Tracking is not yet updated for me.

like you, me too got Mediacl request(IMM1017). But I got only e-mail attachment of IMM1017 from CHC not a letter received through VFS.

Is it OK to take the printout of the e-mail attchement IMM1017 and directly go to the panel of physicians.

We did medicals for my husband. So, Yes, U need to take the form along with you when u go for medicals. Also, when you book the appointment with any one of the panel of doctors specified by CIC, the person booking your appointment will let u know what other documents are required.

In chennai they asked for passport photocopy, any other ID proof original and photocopies and 6 passport photos. So better check with the respective clinic or hospital on wat they require.

Once you complete your medicals, they send the medical reports online. You will be given a receipt for your reference.

Hey Roop,

The medical reports are sent online by the respective clinic or hospital. You need not send anything to embassy via VFS.

Hi pipin,
I have one query, i applied for sowp on 26th april 2013 through vfs and application received to chc new delhi at 29th april 2013 at that time my wife is on pgwp in canada and she also applied for her sinp. I also submit her sinp file number letter with my applicaton, and now she got her sinp nomination approval letter last month and she applied for pr and she paid my and her both pr application fees to nova scotia canada .
My query is that now my pr file submited in canda with my spouse application and i also applied for work permit from india as well so it can process both file as same time or i have to withdrow any one application. I am confused about this pls help me.

Hi Guys!

I assume CHC is upto date with Student and Visitor's visa. There is no backlog with these visa.

And now there are busy with CWP and OWP, by end of this week they will be done with all the march applicants
