Folks ,

I have recieved Medical Call today !

LMO and WP papers Submitted at VFS Bangalore : 22 March 2013
Reached at ND : 25 March 2013
Medical Submission Email from ND : 24 June 2013


Things are moving although Bit slow , ANybody knows after submitting Medical how many days it take and Is that mean that WP Decision is done

Hi Vikki,

You will get in between 5 - 7 working days if everything is fine. even gaurav status changed in a week i believe.. just a few more days wait...

also usually the rejection rate post medicals is very minimal.. so dont worry, u ll get it soon..

yes I received the approval for my work permit within 8 calendar days of my medical submission. But it's been 5 days ever since that and they haven't dispatched my passport yet. Don't know what is the reason for delay now.

Hi All,

We have applied for our OWP - Myself/my wife(including our baby) on 11 Jan 2013

we got our medical req. on 20 March 2013. I had a spot in the xray and they asked me to go for a Sputum Analysis which took 2 months for the report to come.

On june 5 we got the report which was Negative and have sent e medicals on the same day.

It has been 3 weeks and haven't heard anything as of now. we have sent an online enquiry and no reply till date.

Now totally worried & fully tensed.. any idea how much more time it would take???

Pls. suggest what should be done to hear from CHC New Delhi?

The Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO) union is currently taking strike action. PAFSO union members responsible for processing visa applications have been walking out of offices in Canada and overseas.

All offices remain open and are providing at least a minimum level of service however, priority is being placed on urgent humanitarian applications.

Unfortunately this means that this application is still pending officer review and we are unable to advise when a decision can be expected.

Hi DKD235, Could yuo please let me know what kind of work permit you applied for - Open, or closed with/without LMO or spousal work permit?

Has anybody who applied for spousal work permit in March heard anything, or recived decisions yet?
