Hi gauravk
Congratulations!!! can you please say what visa you had applied for as in how many years. because i applied on march and haven't even got medicals yet :-(

I've applied for a CWP/LMO exempt and for 18 months. My visa would expire in December 2014. But they've just sent me a mail about the approval but not dispatched my passport yet. I'm waiting. Any idea how long will they take to dispatch the passport.

And I've only raised case specific enquiries. For which I never received a reply.

You will be getting ur passport any tym soon i guess.... all the very best :)

Thankyou everyone. This forum has really been helpful. I'd have given up all hopes if there wouldn't have been a forum like this. But I'm still waiting for them to dispatch my passport. I got it approved yesterday and they are still yet to dispatch it. Seems like I'll get my passport back only next week.

Gauravk congratulations. How long will it take you to oack and fly once the PP arrives? Where are you heading?

I'll be leaving by mid July since I need to resign from the place where I'm working now. And I'd be going to toronto.

bad news guys......PAFSO Strike causing delays for Canadian visa applications.

While there may be truth in the information presented in that link, always look for BIAS. It is important to note that the "statement" was actually an advertisement for their company to act "on your behalf".

Hi is this the first time you are applying OWP?like have you ever got rejection in visitor visa or something in canada?

Actually twice my visitor visa has been refused in canada than i applied owp as spouse....

does it make any difference if you got previous rejection?
Hi Viv mehta

I am applying first time for OWP. Never applied for Canada before.

You should present your application with very strong documentation especially cover letter...Hire lawyer/representative if you are not sure.

Get to know why travel visa was refused. And usually getting spousal visa has more chances than tourist visa. its a bit slow in processing but high success rate. Good luck
