Hi Vishsang,
you are the one who requested for passport back.
Did you receive any letter with it? how did you come to know application is still in process?

hi guys,

What I believe, the only possible reason for the delay seems to be the avalanche of student visa applications at CHC. The VFS office was flooded with students filing their applications.

Hi Viv Mehta

Spouse is a student.

Hi is this the first time you are applying OWP?like have you ever got rejection in visitor visa or something in canada?

Actually twice my visitor visa has been refused in canada than i applied owp as spouse....

does it make any difference if you got previous rejection?

- Completed Medicals on 31st May
- Sent Passport with Medical slip on June 03, 2013.

- June 12: Passport received with VISA stamped

I will continue to visit this thread to provide my inputs where ever possible.

hi saini,

second time your spouse applied from new delhi visa office or from chandigadh?

please revert.

Thank you.

Yet to prove it, but if your situation changes so that you meet the previous reasons for rejection, technically you should have a chance to get it. Order your GCMS for any refusals to find out true reasons for refusal before applying. Good luck.

The processing time for Chandigarh = 3 months and ND = 2 months.
If you are the former, then you are within their timeframe.

ND applicants who applied for OWP(s) ,

Is there anyone who exceeded the processing timeframe and has initiated a enquiry to the ND office ? Please confirm.

Thanks!
NDVO: 12 weeks over no news

Congratulations Gauravk.

With your approval, I believe strike is not continuing in NDVO.
