Btw, I went to VFS the day before to check with them on the progress. They told me there's a delay in processing WP and asked me to write a letter to the consulate if I needed the decision urgently. I did so and handed it over to them. Maybe that had something to do with this.

In any case, I have my fingers crossed now. My employer has been asking me frantically about the WP status and I hope it comes through now.
