as per VFS CHC release passport twice a day ..at 10:30 am IST and 3:30 PM IST and as soon as it is done VFS status is updated.....I know a person who applied in canada on 12th october and got their visa though as per CIC website processing time in canada is 3 times the one mentioned in India....

in India, ND CHC it has never exceeded 45 days... 22nd Oct... a friend had sent in his application for WP... the guy is sitting in Canada right now... got his visa stamped after submitting medicals in end Nov... another friend had applied in March last year... 20 days MR, 27 days visa... i guess it's all about the burden of applications on the Visa department... this is my 7th week after application... and for you i don't know, i guess 9th or 10th...?

Neetu , have u submitted your medicals to VFS...I think u mentioned on 7th November....it shouldn't take too long after medicals.......You got medical on time but your case is delayed after that , this is strange...
Your file number is also different , Generally in mail inquiry reply CHC reply with file number .....It should start with 'W'...Have you checked with VFS call centre....Check with them under what category your application is filed and if the medicals have been received or not ?...

Hi guys...I applied on 19th nov in chennai....any chennai vfs applicants pls join the thread....applicants who have applied in November should update their status...according to my guess nov 1st n 2nd week applicants should get this week....let's wait...we all will get our updates soon....good luck to all applicants
hello friends, i am not using this forum too much but i think my application is oldest becoz i applied for spousal work permit on 19th septemberand i sent my application through DHL courier but still no update no further instruction thats why i am afraid and no more hope to get visa and i got reply from VO they already sent my application and my e-mail to the appropriate section and they will take action but still no clue if any body have any idea about this kind of situation please advice me thank a lotlucksravi said:
