ND Work Permit Processing Time since February 2012?

Welcome guys!

Seriously, when you call the call center they say they have no idea about the application and ask us to wait until we hear from them! I do not understand what is keeping them from making the decision on our files. I submitted my application on October 19, received medical instructions on November 23. Submitted my medicals on December 3 and yet, no reply from these people.

I am tired of waiting, just want to know the outcome, what ever it is.

friends... around 6 to 7 of us in this discussion topic are waiting to hear from the New Delhi VO... and we have a varying timeline... ranging from October end to November applications... plus i know two other applicants, Nov 6th and 8th respectively, who haven't heard anything from the VO either... therefore it seems to me that there is a temporary pause phase at the VO due to the holiday season... may be it is usual at this time of the year...

It should be as per the document check list. If you applying as a spouse then your documents should be a top of your spouse's.
Anyways, you do not have to worry as long as you have all the documents that are required because the people at VFS will put everything in order, when you go there to submit your application.

Summerr is correct about the VFS agents checking your documents when you submit them. I understand they open your envelope while you are there, check for completeness and reseal the envelope before sending it off to ND. This was the procedure our friend experienced. Somehow that sealed envelope containing his thoroughly documented application did not reach ND as submitted. He has been working to correct this huge problem since the middle of August. This might be overkill, but if it is possible, once the VFS agent has arranged the pages, count the total and number and initial the bottom of each page (1/25, 2/25,3/25.....25/25). You never know it might save someone from facing problems down the road. I hope so.

Hi Friends,

The main problem is that they were flooded with more number of new application and number are much more than what they can handle. And also , they assured that they will handle all application on First Come First Serve basis.Let is hope that we will get our turn soon.
