ND Work Permit Processing Time since February 2012?

Hello all,

My husband is working in Canada currently. I applied for my SOWP on 22nd Jan 2013 from Bangalore. It reached CHC on 23rd Jan 2013. I provided my medical along with my application. I had got my medical done on 7 Jan. So please add my name in the list.

My husband's got his CWP in 4 days. His company applied for his visa. I was hoping that even OWP would be faster, but I think when OWP is not done along with the spouse it takes time.

Yes I Signed through Digital Signature, MyCIC tool provides digital signature , They ask you to enter your First and Last Name and then Click on one button and it will digitally sign your application .

We need not to purchase any other Digital Signature ( Like we need to have while signing Income Tax Return etc for Signining PDF documents with Digital Signature etc)

@nikoli: he is on a study permit.. I was in Canada for 2 years and they have track record of mine and then too I was on OWP. Inspite of all this the processing is taking so long

There is a spreadsheet in this thread showing timelines. The absolute minimum it seems these days is about a month. Some people have been waiting since september. I would say most people hear something about medicals in just over 2 months.

I previously applied for another work permit in ND. At that time they did check with my employer.

I am not sure how they verified with my employer. It was probably by phone. But i remember my employer telling that they asked them for sure information, and they were not sure of some of the answers. My employer did not go into details.

In the end it did not matter, as I still got my work permit approved that time
