they will stamp a worker visa on your passport and will release it .Along with that this approval letter will be issued which you need to show to the Canadian immigration officer at POE to get the final work permit stamped...Hope this helps

"Passport released by the Canadian High Commission, 7/8 SHANTIPATH, CHANKYAPURI, -, NEW DELHI, Pin:110021, Tel: on 28/01/2013 and is in Transit."

@Shyamala: Yes, a Canadian representative appointed by employer. Also, notably, CHC New Delhi has copied the WP approval email to the representative as well!

What is the difference between closed work permit and open work permit?
The form i filled there was no option of closed work permit. Is there anyone who applied together with spouse?

Hi Mitsha,
My case is very similar to you. A CWP with LMO and OWP for my spouse. I applied 5 days after you and have not got a MRR yet. Your success is giving me some light at end of the tunnel. COngrats to you both. Unlike your case I applied for work permit on my own as my employer provided LMO for 4 years. I was in Canada for more than 3 years before and only came back in Nov 2012 to change employer. I have a valid work visa till 2014 from previous employer. Don't know what happens to this change of employer cases.

Group any idea or prev experience on this?

dude... how did you figure out what date positive medical reports delivered to CHC, New Delhi?
