ND Work Permit Processing Time since February 2012?

Because, Last week my wife went to VFS office Hyderabad and submitted some additional documents which CHC Delhi didn't even ask for. She just showed them the receipt.
They said they will send it to Delhi Visa office. No extra charges.

Hi frnds I got my passport stamped with visas.. I was afraid as i did not get an approval email from cic and my passport was released by the embassy.. Thanks sagbas and 24 for your positive support..

He told me that as of now we are not going
To send the passport
We will just submit extra documents
Which they asked for
Coz I need passport for medicals
So after doing medicals doctor will
Send the passport to cic Delhi
I think that is the correct procedure
Hope We get visa as soon as possible

I am not sure if doctors are suppose to take your orig passport or submit it to delhi.

They are supposed to submit only your medical report.

I might be wrong. Chk it before going ahead.

I mean to say that you can show that to them as your id proof
And than you can send passport and medical receipt
By vfs

For medical xerox of passport and one id proof your driv.licen. or voter id is fine ,,,,

if after medical they ask for passport it will take time only,,,Personally visit VFS coz i submitted addnl docs,, no xtra charge,, calling customer care of no use ....

I have recieved a letter which asks
For only submit extra documents
It is not asking for passport
I am not in Delhi
I hve 30 days to submit extra documents
I already mentioned that what I recieved
So did u recieve the same letter
How did they communicate with u
To send additional documents
Please share or if you can send me your no

My case is different from your case
They have returned my passport
And they have only asked me to submit extra documents
And they have given their mailing address
Immigration section
Shanti path chanayakapuri
Po box no
Delhi

And vfs won't accept it
I think the best option is to send
A speed post by indian post
And also send an email to cic
With scanned copy of the documents
And also writing that already forwarded
The hard copy of the documents as well
But I won't send passport with it
If they would have required my passport
They wouldn't have returned it
If anyone has any suggestion

They have given me 30 days to submit documents
To proov my employment history in india
And they also released my passport
My question is
How can I send my documents
I live in different city
I cannot send my documents by courier
Coz they don't deliver it to po box
And the address to send documents
Is given in the letter from cic
Canadaian high commision
Immigration section

And also should I send my passport also
Coz I can send by speed post by indian post
And also can I go to cic new delhi in person
And I came to know that there is a letter box
Outside and also there is help desk to enquire
Please suggest me guys

Don't call their helpline..its almost useless to ask them for any information..

Just proceed with your understanding and help u get from Vfs center and others.

And also one of my friend has the same concern
He has send the documents by mail as well
I am going to send hard copy by registered mail by indian post
And I am also going to send the soft copy
To Delhi cic email
