i send my educational certificates attested by notary , i have not sent the transcripts to chc new delhi . will that be a problem.

I am not 100% sure, but we need transcript in sealed envelope, but if you see section 6 of check list for New Delhi office, it says university transcripts in sealed envelops and professional qualifications certificates from Notary.

obviously, you are expected to send the transcripts. Just send them immediately.

doc28,

You can notarize the coloured copies of the transcripts and ask your College / University to attest it and put it in a sealed envelope.

hi doc28

its always better to send what they have asked for, but some in this forum has got visa with the notarised one.also one of my relative got it with notarised copies.so its for u to decide.if u want u can still send it with a covernote, no harm.it takes around 2wks to 1 month to get these depending on the university.

i am a MBBS graduate. do i need to notarise the xerox copy of the Degree certificate or i need a transcript from the University

Aarons, immaterial of what your degree is, transcripts are required. According to visa office documents requirement check-list, they don't classify this specific requirement according to what degree you have. All they say is transcripts in University Sealed Envelopes. Hope this helps.

Thank you.

aarons3026,

I did coloured copy of my transcripts and asked my college / University to attest it and they put it in a sealed envelope.

If you are not able to get original transcripts then get coloured attested copies from college / University.

transcripts are very important documents and u have to send it in a sealed cover.Dont waste ur time by sending other copies.

Sunny, in my understanding, it doesn't really matter if you provide a attested colored photocopy or black and white. All that matters is, your marksheets and degree certificate (or may be just mark sheets alone) must have a official university seal on each of them and they should be place in the envelope and the envelopes openings should be again sealed with university's official seal. That way, visa officers will find out if somebody opened the envelope on its way to the visa officer to tamper the content of the envelope. Hope this helps.

Thank you.

No, it won't. It has to be from the University. Hope that helps.

Thank you.

It's all fine, What you did is acceptable at CHC.
