Hi Seniors,
I have a few questions with regards to CIC main application:
1 - Should the marriage certificate be notarised?
If you mean the translation then no, it should be only stamped by sworn translator
2 - Should I include both Old and New Passports (Biometric + Demographic Pages) along with the pages stamped (wherever applicable)?
Only include the current (valid) passport, and all pages that are stamped. No need for old passport or blank pages
3 - For Educational documents, should I upload WES certificate (PDF document) where the credentials were assessed as per Canadian standard or should I upload scanned copies of original certificates? If its scanned copies of original certificates should they be notarised?
You should upload the WES and English copies of your education certificate. If thet are not in English translate them and no need to have
them notarized.
4 - For my current job, I don't have a reference letter from HR. When I submitted for NB, I asked my supervisor to write a reference letter on A4 sheet and sign for me. However, that was an original copy which was submitted. Now, can I do the same? Just that I have to find another person as my supervisor is leaving that company?
Do the same and support it by pay stub (payslips), and contract if possible.
5 - After the medicals test is done, should I ask the doctor to provide me with any form? or will the doctor login to my EE profile account and upload? What is the procedure?
The medical center will upload your results to the medicare system. They will give you a document which you need to upload to cic app.
6 - For Financial statement, I have got bank statements detailing the requirements. Actually the account is on my wife's name when I have submitted to NB. Will furnish the same for CIC too.
The funds for cic needs to be in the principle (main) applicant name; or joint venture account
7 - Date of Birth documents are not specified in the Document Check List. Should they be included?
8 - Can I submit the same Digital photos that I got when submitting to NB? or should I take new photos?
New photos better.
Kindly take some time to respond.
Thanks in advance,
SV
