Hi Giva333,

If you are residing outside India, i.e. if you are an NRI, then you should obtain PCC from the local Police of the country where you are residing and also from the Indian Consulate/Embassy in that country. If you are in Dubai, approach Dubai HQ and in 2 days you will get the PCC, then go to BLS with the copy of Dubai Police PCC.

Hi Alwin, thanks for reply but may be i didn't clarify exactly what i want to know, if we are working and residing in Dubai CIC will ask for 2 PCC , one for dubai and one for home country.
For Dubai it's clear process and easy but iam asking about home country PCC , if i can yravel home and issue it directly .
One more questions what you mean with BLS?

Thank you very much for the Info.Along with the Passport will they issue any letter/PCC or will they stamp on Passport?
Don't know why they take 10-15 days if it's issued from UAE only.

They will write and stamp on ur passport also will issue a letter.

All lazy buggers takes their own sweet time but in some cases i hav noticed 7 working days things r done.

BLS is an agency who will help u in getting ur uae pcc from indian embassy.

Hi canadahereicome,

To obtain PCC from Dubai Police, your spouse has to be present before them in person with her original Passport. Since there is no valid Emirates ID card, they will take her finger print. In 2 days you will get the PCC. You can explain them the situation and they will understand and issue it since they have seen similar cases before.
