Yes I will call them on the 23rd too. 23rd will make it 4 months after AOR for me.

Hopefully I will get a reply that my file is in the final stage.

Same here. I will complete 4 months on the 26th. Supposed to be by 2 months, now its already 4.

Hello guys,

Just curious about how the numbers are allotted for PNP application, I submitted my application more then a month ago and heard back from them within few days referring to number 161xx asking for additional documents and then again I receive another communication from them after few weeks for another request of additional documents to submit and this time the number was different from the earlier. When I asked the program officer about the specific reference number for my application if there's any as I see 2 different numbers, she replied saying my PNP number is 161xx which was mentioned the second time they asked me for additional documents, with that being said which one will be my AOR# and which one is PNP# as non of them says AOR#, I was under the impression that PNP number is only allotted when they declare the nomination which seems incorrect, Share your knowledge about this please

Thanks,
Zainy

Hi Zainy,

Guess people who have got ADR can give you a better picture. As far as I know PNP & AOR number should be the same (might be wrong). As all the reference are made on basis of this number. Last month I had to update my EE#, so I have mentioned my PNP# as file reference number to get the this update, and same is been accepted without any change in PNP#. - My experience!
Thanks,
Zainy

Thanks GRiND, appreciated. Would like to hear more responses on this subject from you guys

Another day gone and waiting is still ON

Hi,

AOR & PNP are same...It seems that once additional documents are requested and we submitted the same to their office, they allot new PNP/AOR No. and we lose our seniority. This is a new information.

Hi Guys,

regarding police certificate from Dubai I have 2 questions :-

1- Dubai Police issuing it as a soft copy only or I can get hard copy as well?

2- When I checked there they advised that they don't issuing it to IRCC , they issuing it to CANADA embassy only because it is the governmental representative for CANADA here , is this correct?

please anyone done it here at Dubai to advise

The soft copy is useless I lost 220 AED. Go to Police HQ, tell them for Canada Immigration, you will need a passport photo, copy of your passport and resident visa

OMG, I got a call from Dubai police officer and told me they only issuing it under CANADA embassy only and he told me they don't issuing hard copies??????????/
May be he had a conflict or something?

I applied online, then I got an email telling me to go to Police station to confirm my identity. So I decided to go to the HQ. the officer advised me that the soft copy will do me no good and persuade me to get a hard copy by presenting a copy of my passport, and a photograph. Also he checked my Emirates ID. he said that they will issue it to Canada Embassy and not IRCC and that what happened.
