He said it was a very loong wait as there were a lot of people.
He did not get interviewed till 8pm for a session that was said to start by 3pm.
Also, he said the officials announced that whoever whose NOC code was not on the upadted in demand occupation on the NB website should not bother with the interview.
He read out the codes to everyone.
My husband said he got his ITA within 5 mins of the interview after he checked his EOI form, IELTS(His and mine0 and ECA(His and mine).
As for the ITA being ''verbal'' like it has been stated here, it was actually documented!
they just started issuing out paper ITA. The first sets were verbal. The paper one started at Abu Dhabi and Dubai
He got a one page document that had his name, the venue of the session, basically saying that he had gotten an ITA and that he would not be getting anY E-mail from them regarding getting ITA as the document sufficed and that he should add the document to his full application when sending to NB.
your husband is right about everything apart from there were no names written on the ITA paper. Just your ITA number and signature of applicant and staff
The document was signed by his interviewer and my hubby.
Guess that sheds some light on how the info session in Dubai went.
Good luck everyone!
good luck to you too
Same situation happened to us in Abu Dhabi Ruby31.. Good for you!
Now focus on get all the required documentation within 45 days to be submitted to the Government of NB and then wait for ITA from CIC. Hopefully everything will be OK
Congrats! and see you around NB sometime...

no need for wife ECA for NB, since you are principal applicant. But if you are claiming points for her education on cic then you will still need to get her ECA done.
sure sis. See ya in NB and notes will be compared. Inbox me your number to add you and your spouse to ITA group if you are not already in oneRuby31 said:Thanks edluyando!
Congrats to you too.
I actually went back to check the ITA document and no, his name was not on it like you said. Sorry about that. guess i have too excited, i thought his name was included on it!
Yup, the race is on to send in full application.
Documents are all ready. Waiting for his return and then we are good to go!
It would definitely be nice to see you around in NB!
I'm sure we will still compare notes as we go on in the process!
Goodluck!

I am also waiting for the list of countries for August or September, not able to attend July sessions. Would go absolutely anywhere for the interview)bunny2015 said:+1
Thank you so much Ruby31, for your detailed explanation, and congratulations! as your husband is attending the session today, good luck...
I did the same, and got the same reply, however, my situation is a bit different as they do not have the list for other countries in august and onwards, therefore, I'm not being able to register. I hope they will list out the events soon... In the mean time, please let us know the result after your husband comes back from the event.. Good Luck
you need to check their websitePrincecarl said:Will there be info session at asia?
No, it doesnt.Noue said:does it say anything about the details of the documents he showed to the officer ??
thank you and best of luck and wish me luck im attending my session on friday ..Ruby31 said:No, it doesnt.
But the officer checked his and my IELTS, his and my ECA, and his EOI form.
The ITA document just told him the significance of the document, the next step involved which is to send full application, ensuring that it is complete with all the required documents otherwise it will be delayed or rejected and that if nominated, he must accept nomination electronically through his CIC profile within 30 days... he then then get the 600 points if he accepts which automatically qualifies for an ITA from the goverment of canada for permanent residency. Then the last paragraph was that he should not contact the NBPNP office. If they require additional information, they will contact him and if they do not, he will be contacted by them as soon as a final decision is made.
That is the content on the document in nut shell.
Are there anyone who could please help me in this issue?bunny2015 said:Congratulations! who got the ITA from NB Information sessions... Good Luck to all of you for your next steps...
Was there anyone who got the welcome email from promotions@gnb.ca, attended an information session from a different country, without an in demand occupations?
Did you receive any verbal ITA from those sessions? Are there any possibility to apply while attending the information session without in demand occupations and without the verbal ITA?
What I meant by this is in the sites, they've listed the regulated professions who cannot apply, therefore, I was curious and send them an email asking for permission to attend a session, for which I got permitted.
Now, I don't know what happens to people without those in demand occupations? They may not get Verbal ITA, but do they still fall under the priority 2 and still able to apply for the nomination?
Is there anyone who can help me out with this issue?
