We were not asked for identification or confirmation email, but I actually have them with me during the session.
Just make sure to bring them in case they will ask for it.
Anyway, during the session, attendance sheet was passed around to be filled up. So they have a record of who actually came.

It was a blank sheet where you need to fill in your name and email address.
But still you need to register for the session first because I guess they will compare the attendance sheet against their register list.

I have registered for the session but they said in the email that this "The exact date/time and location will be confirmed "? when will they send me final confirmation ? any idea ? i have registered last week.

Hi lildip. I have no idea about that because in my case, I received the confirmation right after I registered, complete with date, time and location. Then around a week before the schedule, I received an email from them about the change of location. It was just a different hotel, same city.

Here in Brazil we had to bring a printed copy of the confirmation e-mail, as well as an id document. Both were checked at the entrance.

Both. They asked for the id document with the number I provided on registration.

There is explained how much points is each category in CLB. So it looks like you are good to go.
