I already checked my spam or junk folder to no avail. If i may ask, was your ECA delivered earlier or at the same time as your full docs? my eca was sent by wes on aug 17 through a standard mail which usually takes 3-5 business days to be delivered. Could that be the reason why?

Also per their process, review period will take 6-8 weeks. Do we start counting once we received the AOR?

Dear seniors,

I have got ITA since Aug/8 but I was on a business trip out of my country and just came back yesterday. I think every day is counted from now to prepare the full/complete application.

Please advise me for the following cases:
1. Language Proficiency

I have requested British Council (BC) send my IELTS rest result directly to NB.
Questions 1: As NB asks for original test result, so is it ok for me to have BC send another copy of test result directly to them?

Looks like the office of NB use an P.O. Box address so BC told me that they can't use DHL service as it requires a person to sign on receiving the letter.
Question is 2: Can I use DHL service to send my full application?

2. Fee Payment
I can't find any Bank in my country (Vietnam) where they issue Money Order or Certified Cheque. I decided to request a Bankdraft to pay to Minister of Finance instead.
Question 3: Is it ok to use Bankdraft in this case?

Question 4: Should I include a written letter to explain why I am not providing their expected payment methods and why I am using Bankdraft instead?

I am looking forward to seeing your useful comments/advice. Time is rush now.

I dont consider myself a senior yet but I hope I can help you with these answers based on the process Ive gone through.

1. If you still have the original copy of your IELTS result, you can just send that along with the other requirements. It's only the ECA that they require to be sent directly from the evauator (i.e. WES). But to answer your question, yes! you can opt to send your docs through DHL.

isn't there any options to send proof of work experience such as photocopies (notarized) of reference letter in stead of original. It is bit difficult for me to ask for original reference letter twice. need help from you guys. thank you

if you prefer to keep your original copy, you may do so and request for another copy instead to be sent to NB PNP. what i did was the opposite. i sent my copy and i will just get another copy for future need.

im afraid there's none. as stated in the document checklist, they require the original copy. you can opt to send a certified true copy or notarized copy and provide a letter of explanation but it's quite a risk.

Receiving ECA might be considered in late AOR because I ordered WES for sending my ECA on 9th August and report delivered to NBPNP on 17th August. NBPNP got my paper application on 19th and gave AOR on 20th.

So,don't worry, may be you will get AOR after NBPNP received your ECA from WES. BTW, what is your ECA application status?

Here are my answers to you:

1. BC will not give 2nd original copy to your hand (IDP will). So, if you decide not to give the original you have (I have given mine), request BC to forward another original copy to NBPNP through DHL. The address have PO number at last line but the mail address is OK for DHL and a real person will sign the receipt of delivery. Don't worry.

2. Banking concept is different within countries. certified cheque is north american concept. You don't need an LOE if you provide an FDD (foreign demand draft) to them. Only make sure your bank mention the recipient bank must be inside CANADA (mine was Bank of Nova Scotia).

I am assuring you, most of the people like us (IN UAE, INDIA, VIETNAM, CHINA etc.) have done FDD as method of payment.

3. YES. Must be in CAD.

4. Not needed.

Yes, there is option to send Notarized copy of reference letter. I have just one copy of the employer issued letter and did not want to give that out. I mailed NBPNP and asked them if it is okay for me to send Notarized copy of my reference letter and they agreed to it. Hence I attached a Notarized copy of reference letter along with the mail that they sent. I would suggest you to do that if you don't want to give away your original. The reason for me doing this is because my employer will not issue multiple copies of the same letter and assume I submit all my originals and they reject my application and don't return my application or it is lost in transit, then I'll no way be able to apply for any other programs in future. The reason I quoted to them was that I would need this letter when applying to CIC after provincial nomination and they accepted it. Please get a written mail from them and attach along with your reference letter if you are going to do this.

With respect to IELTS and WES, I ordered it in the respective institutions and also gave the mailing address as NBPNP and attached the ordering proof's along with my application. They are fine with this as well.
