My common-law partner's IELTS will be expiring on Feb 28, 2017. I'd like to get your opinion, should she take another exam before it expires? We will be submitting another EOI on January 1st.

Hello Allan,

It's better for your partner to take another exam asap. Even through u get nomination from NB with the previous IELTS test result, u would need a valid IELTS at CIC stage...I know people in different provinces just because they didn't provide them on time. While assessing the paper for one of the applicant, Nova Scotia realized that his IELTS has expired. So they asked for a new one within 5 working days. The nearest date he had on 8th Jan'2017. The applicant couldn't provide them on time and they rejected his application. So I would suggest not to take any chance and go for a new exam asap.

both, but CIC will take up to 24 hours to update your account.

Today my application reached 4 months already and until now I don't have a single feedback regarding my app. We've been told in the Abu Dhabi info session that it would take 2-3 months to get the results of our applications and now its way more than that. I guess it's time to send a follow-up email to NB since I have a specific target timeline in moving to NB so that I can enroll my kids in the coming new school year. Waiting this long is quite frustrating and the term express entry wouldn't make any sense if you've been waiting for this much long for nomination alone.. :-[

At CIC stage, I want to place a more detail experience letter for better understanding..Do I need to inform NB the change or I can submit a new one at CIC stage? (The NOC and other info will remain the same. Just a few more job detail would be added..Need your suggestion guys.

From where you came to know that it it closed ?
You need to make ur profile in Express entry and for that u obviously need 67 points

better to inform them, we never knew if they link your application with CIC after nomination.
