Yes lots of applicants. They are currently issuing AOR to applications received 23rd Aug. Please check your junk mail, if nothing you can call them to confirm what the hold up is.

I did call them, but the receptionist said since they have received a lot of applications, it could take time before they get to open my application package, and I got to be patient. Does this late opening indicate anything?

Do not worry much, although your application might have been put together with the wrong dates. Happened with few people. Wait till Monday 12pm New Brunswick time and call again.

Yes you can. Anything you cannot provide, just write a LOE explaining why.

Yo should receive it anytime next week... It used to take them 8 to 10 days but recently, people whose application reached on 23rd, received aor on 25.

In short, it basically depends on how many application they received along with ur application. My guess, u should receive it Monday or Tuesday latest.
