Hi everyone,

I have applied for federal pr through non express PNP from New Brunswick. I have already received my AOR and my PNP is non restricted. Now because of personal reasons I had to leave my job. I am looking for a new job right now and I wanted to get suggestions on how should I proceed further. Do I have get all the documents that are needed to PNP such as NB004 from my new employer or I just have to let the government of NB know that I have changed employers? And what information do I have to update on IRCC’s end?

Please advise I am really confused and getting nervous here.

Thanks in advance

You can change jobs no issues there. However, the new job must be a similar NOC/TEER level or higher. You have to submit the employer document NB004 and your full job offer or letter of employment to the provincial office. That's all that would be needed to update your employment with the office. They may ask you for more info but that's up to their discretion. Additionally, the PNP office will make the final determination whether your new employer meets the requirements of your nomination. Finally, to inform IRCC, you have to wait until you get the updated nomination certificate with the new employer on it. Then submit the new cert. and your letter of employment through webform. That's all. The provincial office will also inform IRCC of the changes in the nomination.

Hi, when did you get your AOR? After how many days of your submission? I submitted my NBPNP PR application in August 2024. When can I expect and how to check the status ?
