Hey guys,
I'm preparing my application and there is one doubt I have and would love your input:

My wife (sponsor) is a naturalized canadian citizen (her father is Canadian, she was born abroad).
In question 9 of IMM5540E (Sponsorship Questionnaire) it says:

"Are you a naturalized Canadian or permanent resident?"
If so, it asks for the date she became a PR, and which visa office issued the COPR.

She is a naturalized citizen, is that also considered a PR? How would you suggest we explain this?

Thanks you all! :P

She is a Naturalized Citizen, and father must have sponsored to bring her here, so they are asking details fo the date she became PR ( before becoming naturalized citizen ) and the office/date the PR was issued

Is she actually a naturalised citizen? (That implies going from PR to Citizen)

If her father was Canadian at the time of her birth, she may be a "native" Canadian, even if born abroad.

Yes, her father was Canadian at the time of her birth, she was born abroad and when she was 2, her family relocated to Canada.

She would be considered native or naturalized? I have searched online but couldn't find a definitive answer

There is a helpful web page at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/citizenship/rules/index.asp that may help to work out the correct answer.

I don't have all the details, so I can't help work through the test..
