Naturalized Canadians having a baby outside of Canada

Hello,

Both I and my spouse are Naturalized Canadians. My spouse is expecting and due to a personal situation, it may not be possible for us to go to Canada for the delivery.

Any naturalized Canadians who have had delivered outside of Canada in the last few years, please share your experiences.

I currently live in UAE, so if there is anyone who has had this specific experience, it will be very helpful.

I think ! Your kid will be a Canadian citizen but your kid’s kid will need to be born in Canada to be a Canadian, since your kid was not born in Canada though your kid becomes a citizen but birth. https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=365&top=5
