She is from texas and now she is eligible for RN lisence without osce.
How long ago did she apply and how long ago did she get news that she is eligible for NCLEX? I'm just wondering whether it was before or after the September 2016 CNO Council meeting.

Yes you are right. It is nothing more than a word search. So basically eventually international schools can figure out what exactly NNAS is looking for and ensure those words are in the syllabi and course/program descriptions, and those applicants will be deemed "comparable". It's not a real assessment of whether or not someone has the equivalent knowledge and skill that a Canadian grad has. They have also altered it obviously, because before, nobody was getting "comparable", and now some US grads are. When I applied to NNAS no US grads were getting "comparable". I think though that we can generally assume that certain countries will not be comparable, based on the results overall...almost everyone is "non comparable".
I suppose its more a matter of individual schools rather than countries that how their Course details are organized. If their syllabus has more keywords matching with NNAS then higher the ETA percentage. I know , its seems comical !

The program is really hard to get into. There are not very many spots and there are so many applicants. It often takes years to get into the program and in many cases would be quicker to start in the beginning and get a BScN. For those that don't know about the program, it is 20 months long and costs $12,000 in tuition, plus books and other expenses.

Hello guys,

I have applied for LPN in CNO and all of the requirements were already submitted and ready for review. I was just wondering if I have an advisory report showing somewhat comparable, what will the CNO requires?

I received the decision from CARNA today after 1 month from my AR and they are giving me an option to take ARNAP or bridge school and I've decided to take bridge school at MRU. What are you thoughts? By the way, I'm still waiting for CLPNA since I just sent my job description as a requirement. I hope I made the ti decision to go back to school

Do you know the approximate wait time to get a spot in the bridge program? Will you have to wait a year or more? Do you have to submit a separate application for the bridge program or are you automatically accepted?

Depending on where you received your nursing education, they may accept you as LPN.

Im not quite sure if there's a waiting list for bridging school in MRU. According to the school they only need the referral letter from carna and my Ielts thats it. But I was not able to ask if there's a waiting list for bringing school.

Okay. I think it's worth a call to them to find out. I'm thinking that because if there is a wait list, and if the estimated time is 2 years for example, you'll probably want to do ARNAP. Nothing to lose really, as if you don't pass ARNAP you will have to do the bridge program anyway.
