Unfortunately, you won't be eligible for that. Coz, you last practiced was more than five years ago.Either you have to go back where you have licenced to practice minium 400 hrs or you have to go back to school to meet safe practiceHello,
How does CNO calculate evidence of practice to give eligibility for Supervised practice program?
I last worked on June 2016, my evidence of practice expired on June 2019.
Will I be eligible for supervised practice programme? Anyone has any idea?
Any response will be appreciated. Thank you.
You need to begin with NNAS. Your education, experience and nursing license need to be evaluated by NNAS. You can simply google NNAS and begin your journey.Hi, I have done Bsn from India with work experience from 2015-2018 and then april 2019- September 2019. I'm a permanent resident of Canada can anyone please help me through how to get Rn here in Canada. Any response will be appreciated, thanks
Like I said on my another posts, She has to start with NNAS. She can skip NCLEX and language requirements as She has already passed NCLEX and educated in English speaking country. Is there anyone who studied and practiced in the US as RN OR BSN? For those who got through this process from the US, please help.
The applicant is a US citizen and she would like to know how to transfer or register her license in Ontario?
1- Nclex passed years ago and 12 years of experience in Florida
2- Language is : English
3- BSN from FAU (Florida Atlantic University _Boca Raton)
Thank you.
Going through NNAS will allow you to be evaluated your nursing credentials. But you need to be a permanent resident of Canada. So,you can start applying for both NNAS and Express entry. I would advice you to apply for RN and LPN both at the same time. You will have a option to go for RN if gap is identified.Hi guys,
I am a UK RN with 10 years experience in Accident and Emergency I am currently NHS band 7 sister.
As we only do 3 year adult program BSc in UK could I apply to NNAS as LPN and then once I get settled in Canada top up my existing qualifications?
My partner is a UK national also. He's a police officer.
Is it a pointless exercise to go down the Express Entry route ?
So just to clarify,Going through NNAS will allow you to be evaluated your nursing credentials. But you need to be a permanent resident of Canada. You need a status to work as a nurse which can be done through express entry. Your nursing experience gives you additional points to your EE profile. And NNAS will evaluate your credentials and direct you towards getting license to work as a nurse. You can start working on both simultaneously. Hope it helpsSo just to clarify,
The express entry is based upon my English and French speaking skills, level of education etc rather than my job at this point? The job is something that can be finalised once the express entry has been granted?
Thanks
WelcomeCan I join your organization, please? .... I'm awaiting the preliminary review of my papers for FSW 2014 and want to apply to NNAS as soon as I hear back from Mcic.
