Name split for Canadian Citizenship application

I am looking to apply for my citizenship in the near future and have questions about my name. My name on my passport is:

Surname:
Given name: ABC DEF GHI

Now when I first came to Canada, I was able to get my name on the counterfoil and permit like below:

Surname: GHI
Given name: ABC DEF

As a result, my driver's license has the correct name as well. When I got my PR, my name came as follows:

Surname: ABC DEF GHI
Given name:

Now applying for citizenship, I want my name to have the surname and the first name as it was when I first came to Canada. CoPR cannot be changed and since I am getting ready to apply for citizenship, do not want to go with PR card name change. Since, it is a name split only and not an actual name change, do you think it would work without proof of name change on citizenship application?

If not, my passport is up for renewal but since I am applying for citizenship do not want to get that renewed as well. Point being I can get my name split on the passport if I go and get a new one. Would that alone work or I would have to get the name change done in the province (which is effectively a name split)?

As anyone been in this situation before?

Thanks.

i do have the similar issue as dbss but the thing is my new passport reflects correct order of my name instead of just "given name" and I am trying to apply for citizenship. If there is anyone who could suggest

Get a new PR CARD and Record of Landing issued under the new name, then apply for citizenship

My case is as under
My Indian passport had my name on Given Name and Family Name was blank

In Canada, family name is mandatory. So they printed my entire name on Family Name and Given Name is blank

I got my Indian passport name corrected by getting the name split and now it has Given Name and Family Name correctly mentioned.

Now I’m applying for Citizenship. As per my research so far I will need to apply for Legal Name Change. The Processing time these days is 6-7 months.

To save time If I apply with name as per my PR card, and I believe when applying for Canadian Passport we can mention the name as how we want it to be. Is that right? If yes, Will there be any issue in OCI application ?

What documents do they see for OCI? If they see Canadian passport then my names would match as my new passport I’ll choose the right name but if they see citizenship certificate then will I have to get my name corrected in citizenship certificate? How long that process would be?

I understand that immediately after getting citizenship we need to surrender our Indian passport and get OCI to travel. Since the name change may take months in citizenship certificate, I won’t be able to travel to India?

Also, what all documents require name correction post citizenship acquisition in canada ?
