Dear All

I have a character missing in a Name on Birth certificate?

So my name is combination of 4 names. Mxxxxxxxxxx FARAZ Axxxx Shxxxxxxx

My birth certificate shows my English name as Mxxxxxxxxxx FRAZ Axxxx Shxxxxxxx..

Technically they sound same hence the data entry guy took a letter out. Could it be a problem though there is a difference of one letter (FARAZ and FRAZ) and if CIC can make problems for this. Getting it corrected could take extremely very long so I will avoid it !! ALL OTHER DOCUMENTS (Certificates, Passport etc ) carry FARAZ as my name.

you don't have to show your birth certificate anywhere (required only for dependents below 18)

That's right and I know that. But just in case and in extreme case if they ever asked or they went for background check. My brother is a Canadian National since 2001 and his passport mentions the detailed place of birth and he confirmed that they wanted a document saying the birth place preferably birth certificate (and he provided them Birth certificate).

Could this be a problem anyways?

birth place would be mentioned on your passport.
though this is not the case of using a different name so you can write an LOE for this, if required.
