Hi,

To me, the name on Passport should be as per birth certificate since you have to prove it at later stage if CHC asks. Let us have seniors views on this.

Good Luck.

Without prejudice, your case seems to be in a Muddle.

My 2Cents worth:
Calm down. Put all Your Documents together. Put together what "Rhymes" and the rest of the documents that don't tally together. If it is only the name on your son's birth certificate and Passport. ( I know a lot of ASIAN PP - I am guessing you are an Asian) have these problems. Contact the offices responsible for any of the documents that need the correction.

For example, if it is the PP (in this case). Contact the PP agency with the Birth certificate, explain the situation to them and let them either correct it or issue a new one. It will cost you money but it can be done. My advice is to get it sorted before the CIC request for them.

Dear bobbyB thank you for ur advise
im again bothering u

i just want to say that the name is correct in both things but only name "mushtaq" is extra in birth certificate.

whearas i think (someone told me) that passport authority only prints 2 names its surname and given name,so name (mushtaq) will not be appeared on passport.

Secondly my husband name is "malik mohammad mushtaq" written on id card and passport and on his degrees and transcripts its like "mohammad mushtaq",also let me know about it plz.

if i go ahead without changing it then would it b a problem for me?

Sincerely, I don't know. Only the IO responsible for your application will be able to answer the question, I guess.

But, Let me counter question you. Maybe that will help you to think and resolve the issue yourself.
What if there is a problem/issue about it. What will you do? How are you going to convince them? Are u ready for that?

You see, it might not be an issue at all,I don't know, but If I were you, I will get ready for every situation that may arise.

I will advice you to look at "Half a glass full of water as Half empty as well"!!!

In my opinion, this is explainaible should it be queried, and should not be a problem that cannot be resolved by a covering letter or verbally in an Interview. This is very much predominant in Asian countries.
The case with your son is, I am assuming -purely assuming-Plz don't get me wrong, What if the question arises that you are trying to take your sister's/brother's/nephew son etc with you. Hmm, Hmm!!! So, you will start running around again, gathering evidence to prove otherwise. Think about it, You want to tell me people don't do that? Again, remember that I am not an Immigration consultant nor a Legal adviser. I only think and view things Logically, and from my experience(s) give my opinion. At the end of the day, You are responsible for whatever actions you take.
