Dear experts - I submitted my ECA with my profile full Name as MADHAVA PRASAD SANTHANAKUMAR and Name on Credential (degree) as MADHAVA PRASAD S.

However on Passport, I have my initial 'S' (Father's name - Sur name) expanded and Full name is MADHAVA PRASAD SANTHANAKUMAR.

Also on my experience certificates it carries the full name Madhava Prasad Santhana Kumar with a space in between Santhana and Kumar. Kindly help by clarifying the below questions

1. Having initial not expanded in degree - will it have any impact?
2. Space between surname SANTHANA KUMAR in experience certificate and absence of space in passport Surname SANTHANAKUMAR. Will it have any issue?

Pls guide. Thanks

You just need to create an affidavit stating all these names belong to you. That should be enough.

Due to the following reasons it's okay to submit your documents as is:
  1. Your name is various combinations of the same three words, including initials
  2. There is no other/extra name/word(s) in all the documents
  3. There is no variation in the spelling throughout
Make sure your name in the passport and EE profile matches.
If you read Naming procedures: Names structures and how to record them in GCMS - Canada.ca you will know that in case of (2) and (3) above you would need a Letter of explanation.

Hi @Miajane111 Next time, it's nicer if you avoid hijacking others' thread and create your own.

The express entry profile name has to match you're passport name. If you want, you could change your passport name before march and apply. You can read some discussion here shall we change passport name before or after PR application?

As a starting point you can use these links @ the canadian gov website
Find out if you are eligible to apply - Canada.ca
How Express Entry works - Canada.ca
Fill out your profile – Skilled immigrants (Express Entry) - Canada.ca
Other website (CRS calculator. Same as first link)
CRS Calculator (Comprehensive Ranking System) and Express Entry Eligibility Evaluator - canadavisa.com

Experts i need help!

My name is Nitin Raghavendra Kumar Sakre in my passport and my undergrad degree certificate from India has the name Nitin S R. I have my WES done for this degree and the name remains Nitin S R in WES. But I have received my masters degree in Canada as Nitin Raghavendra Kumar Sakre (matching my passport). And I currently reside in Canada on my PGWP.

Please let me know if I have to worry about my name being short in my undergrad degree from India ? If yes, please suggest what I should do.

Thank you!
