Hello Dear,

I am going to sponsor my wife for her PR application.I am planning to send my application package by the next 3/4 days.I wrote a cover letter explaining the reasons of 2 discrepancy in my documents. So,I thought it is better to inform them in advance.Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing in regards to my mother’s name and my ex-spouse’s name.

1. The name of my ex-spouse is X Y (According to her passport). But in the divorce letter her name was written –Mosammat X Y. Here “Mosammat” is a prefix usually used in Muslims women’s name. This is not a part of her name. So, please ignore if there is any discrepancy in my ex-spouse’s name.

2. According to my passport, My mother’s name is-Mrs. A B. Here my mother takes the last name of my Father (Md. Abdul B).
In Bangladesh; women usually adopt the husband's surname or family-name as their own. So, B is not her real surname. So, please ignore if there is any discrepancy in my mother’s last name.

Thank you.

Regards,

It is always the best to be upfront about everything right on the spot
You don't want your application comming back to you and it taking a longer amount
Of time, the letter you have written explains yourself clearly,
If they need anything further they should contact you but you were upfront and honest
From the start and different country's have different coustoms
They can't banish you for it

hi,

in regards to your name or your ex-spouse, you have to have a lawyer to help you with this. a personal letter explaining the situation is not acceptable :)
