Name is misspelled in passport

Hi

I am planning to apply for visitor visa for my parents.

My father name is misspelled in my 10th certificate and then it continued in my passport,education certificates etc..

In my passport father name is viswanadham
In my fathers passport it is like Vishwanadham.

Just a difference of 'H'.. Does it make a huge difference. Should i mention this while applying for visit visa for my parents.

Can anyone say should i provide any affidavit stating that both names belong to one person only

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Hi Ganapathi,

It will be an almost impossible task to change all your certificates for the correct spelling of your dad's name.

If your birth certificate + your parents' marriage certificate have the correct spelling..... then you must submit these two documents for their TRV applications.... along with a copy of your passport + mention in the covering letter that it is the same person

Even my birth certificate is issued based on my 10th certificate and it is misspelled.Just a letter right. cant we take a affidavit stating both are same

How was your birth certificate issued after your school leaving certificate? Anyways

You can submit an affidavit to say it is the same person
