Name/Given Name Query

Hi

All the forms in the FSW package have the fields for given name and surname.

My name initially was written in the passport as Given - Raman Kumar and Surname -Left as Blank

When i made a new passport i got it changed to Given Name- Raman, Surname - Kumar

Can anybody pls clarify as to what should i write in the given name column on schedule 1 and schedule 3?

Will my given name column have both raman and raman kumar (as raman kumar was the given name
in my old passport)?

I am sure 99% that you need to write given name: Raman, surname:Kumar, as it is in your new passport. But for being 100% sure, write them, and ask.

Follow your current Passport. That is what CHC takes as the final document for all purposes related to name/surname.

Thanks for the prompt replies...

but the FSW EG700 pdf instructions say... that "given names should be the names you have used on any of the official documents like passport... etc"

I am attaching the copies of both my old and new passport as they have the immigration stamps
to proove my travel history...

wont it be a confusing when the VO has both my old and new passport in his hands and both have different given names but my forms how only one of those ?
