Name change

I am currently studying in Canada and I already have a study permit.
It expires in 2014.
I was just wondering what happens if I change my name on my passport.
Does that mean I need to apply for a new study permit again?
Well actually, I just wanna add another name on my passport.
Does anyone know what I can do about it?

Hi. Why do you want to change your name? It is not normal to amend or change your name on a travel document during a visit to another country. An alarm bell will go off in the mind of any immigration officer who will see your papers if you do this.
