Name Change Question

That's my concern as well. I'm leaning towards addressing it in the cover letter to say that I didn't change my name because I'd like to keep it the way it is (the one on my PR card). There isn't much more I would be able to say once questioned about it.

Not sure if its any indication but I was able to get through renewing my PR card without any hiccups (I didn't mention the spelling error). No idea if they have a higher level of scrutiny for Citizenship applications.

Basically, CIC wants all identification documents to have same name.
Question: When you landed as PR in Canada, did your passport have same name as compared to COPR and VISA sticker? was the passport renewed after landing with correct name?
