Name change document requirement

Hi,

in the checklist for the citizenship application it says:
Date of birth correction or a name change:
see section
"
Step 1. Gather Documents
"
in the instruction guide to know which
documents to include.

I had my name change done 6 years ago and my PR card is on my new name so do I still need to include name change documents and if so what document?

Called CIC and they said no need to include any name change documents as long as your COPR is under the new name.
