Hi everyone,
Just a newbie here, I hope someone can help me or give me their insights concerning about my study program.
I'm from the Philippines, a RPH with a 2 year experience in retail setting but just recently resigned from it. I'm not quite sure on what program to take - my first option was Pharmacy Technician and have to spend approx $15,100/year so I crashed that one out and opt for Medical transcription at NAIT, it's a 1 year program that is somewhat related in terms with the course listings, well, it involves patient wellness, etc.
Is Medical transcription a good choice of study?
I also googled Norquest programs and quite interested with Physical Therapy Assistant which is a year and 6 months, would it be a good option too since 1 year is too short when I plan to acquire PGWP?? Only thing is, it is different from my profession.
May I also include the factors that might affect my application?
1. No travel history
2. Currently unemployed (is this a problem)
3. My parents are permanent residents in Canada, my siblings are OFW so yes, I am the only one left in my home country
I got denied before when I applied for tourist visa for those reasons - that I have no travel history, job, family ties both in Canada and in my country.
It's so stressful. I hope someone can give me their opinions/comments/insights etc.
Thank you.
