ABOUT THE APPEAL: Are pre June 2010 applicants really allowed to appeal? Note that my NOC 1111 is no longer in the current list. I have a feeling that my case is already sealed. Anybody with more candid information on this kindly contact me.
If one were to appeal;
1) Who do you appeal to? Do you address your appeal to Immigration Visa Officer? And
2) Which office do you address your appeal to? Is it Nairobi Visa Office or should it be addressed to Immigration Office in Canada?
They had sent me a mail early last week requesting that I collect my original documents from NVO. I went ahead and collected them on Thursday last week.
On Friday last week, I responded to that mail and requested the Immigration Officer to have a look at my file again since a copy of the PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD is actually in my file. I further attached another copy of the card together with a copy of my brother’s birth certificate. I stated that this card was overlooked yet it is in my life. They are yet to respond and I don’t think they will.
I deliberately avoided using the word appeal in that mail since I am not sure whether my case gives me an option to appeal. Instead I simply stated that the card copy was overlooked in my file.
I would love to get in touch with anyone who knows how to go about the appeal process although I still believe that my time is up & an appeal may not be admissible. Do you guys think the response to that mail will do?
Must one involve Immigration lawyer in an appeal? Must one send hard copies of documents disputed or can a soft copy do? An appeal lands on whose desk?
I am happy that most of the backlog cases are now being cleared by NVO and soon all of you guys will be happy. Take that opportunity if and when it comes. CACA believe me you will get your medical request soon. Dassen, Gashe, gal, CPA,Faarax ,Caca and all the rest thank you for your concerns and encouraging messages.
