Gashe,

In the identification type box, select
Either Immigration File Number/ Application Number, then in the box underneath insert the Number starting B0……….
OR Client Id Number/ Unique Client Identifier, Then in the box underneath insert the number starting UCI…………
You then fill in all the other fields in the form, then click continue.

your family name should be the same as that in your application form.

If you still have problems you need to contact the NVO.

I am in Mauritius. You can send me a personal mail on vyde@live.com if you wish.

Hope info is useful.

Hi Gashe,

I have not experienced this type of situation, but I advise you to go through the following steps as indicated in FAQ in the official website

Q19: I have been through the issues here and I still can't access my application information. What can I do?
A19: Go through the following steps:

Open CAS again through the On-Line Services page.
Verify that the date of birth you are entering in CAS exactly matches the information on your application, passport and identity documents and that you are following the format as specified.
Verify that the place of birth you are entering in CAS exactly matches the information on your application, passport and identity documents and that you are following the format as specified.
Verify the spelling and order of your surname or family name on the correspondence received from the CIC visa office or case processing centre, and on your passport and other supporting documents.

If you are still having difficulties accessing your application information, see question no. 1 on how to find out about the status of your application. If you are still experiencing technical difficulties, please contact us.

The link is: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/index.asp

You need to send a case specific inquiry (CSI) by following the link:

https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=nairobi

I suppose you are not being able to check your status because of a technical problem or because they have wrongly input some information about you in their database.

Regards.

Hi friends,

An additional line has been added to my 'In Process' information. It reads:
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 16, 2012.

Cheers.

Hi Dassen

I have been reading on your developments and i have to say Congrats on the progress.

Now would you have the specific email inquiry since i applied in April 2010 and submitted my paperwork to the

embassy in November 2010, i haven't heard anything from them which annoying bordering on worrying.

Another thing, i applied as an accountant and i am a Certified Public Accountant. Does the Canadian agency exempt

me in anyway in these profession or i have to study.

Thanks Gal,

I forecast developments in near future for all pre June 2011 applicants.
I am also a certified accountant but I fear our qualifications are not sufficient for us to work as accountants in Canada. I think we are going to be exempted to a large extent but we need to do some further studies to qualify us to work as accountants.

Hi Friends,
Received MR by post today.
8) 8) 8)

Congrats Dassen

I told you that once the date of processing line appears in ECAS , it will not take time to receive MR. Now you have to meet the deadlines mentioned. If PCC has been requested, do not delay to apply for it. It may take at least a month. Meanwhile you can send the MR & other available docs.

Mimisha

Thanks Mimisha.
Hope others in this forum enjoy the same experience very soon.
I'll send you a PM later.

Cheers.

Hi guys,
new to your mini forum, I am also permanent residence applicant in nairobi. If there is any expert in this forum I would ask if he/she can translate when CHC in kenya email to you as saying that "your application is nearing completion". Is that good sign or bad sign? waiting 7 months after the interview and medicals.

Hi,

I am not expert in the field, but it seems 7 months appears long after medicals. Decision will of course depend on medical results and interview. By the way, have you already sent passports?
Which type of application did you file? can we know your timeline?

Cheers
