Nairobi - processing times

Is Nrb office still processing application. What is the processing time for thos applying after Nov 2008 under the 38 job lists. I have checked the website and it shows '-' means dash dash. Please advise can someone choose to process in another country rather that nairobi kenya i.e. buffallo

yes as far as i know you can apply from a country in which you have been resident for a year or more. I see that you have landed. I went to the embassy about two weeks ago. Confirmed that there are actually living, breathing people

I applied in November 2006 under the simplified application process. Desperate to know what year of applications nairobi is dealing with...any idea?

btw nov 2006 they are tking too long you better chase them up have they requsted for meds. if i were u i woulf write to them. thats nearl38 month,

They have not requested meds or anything for that matter yet. I have written to them, but they just send the standard message that 80% of cases will be processed within 58 months..so based on that, i have atleast 2 years to go

Hi amo / marta

I applied under 38 list. Sent full docs to the CHC on 15th Dec 2009. I got an AOR on 26th Jan 2010 - saying that if I do not hear from them in one year I only then should I contact them.

On e-cs my status show received by visa office - which means they haven't opened my file.

Please share your timeline and your e-cas update. Very desperate to know what is going on !
