i dont think no one know that answer but the immigration officers themselves

Dear Samstar, I have also the same question. Really i don't know why they don't want to tell the length of the queue. I always think, one of the problem in their cite is that they don't want to disclose the estimated rough-time to call for interview. An applicant should be claer with what is being done and has a right to access his/her status easily. On the other hand, I am surprised with the reply given by somebody to your question above, on this page. S/he said, "Nobody knows even the immigration officers". Whywhywhy? They must know, rather. We must be sure that, based on their experience, they can estimate the number of days or weeks or months needed to process the number of files waiting for particular interview. It can be simple, that is dividing the number of files to that of days/weeks.

So, please, if anybody who have got information about this, your help is valuable. Help! Help! Help!

Stay blessed!

hey there friend..how are you doing......the last post i sent on this thread.....you did not read my post right......i say only the immigration officer can tell her how long it take to get the interview date.........the same thing happen to me..i got an email stating that i was in queue for an interview and it took them over 2 months to give me the date and i hade to email the commissioner of the kingston office and ask him if they can give me my interview date or else i still would not know anything about the interview date at all.

Am glad to join this forum as we all share similar experience that we go through to acquire PR Card.
Am also waiting for the Interview date to be fixed by the Nairobi office since May 2013 and its coming to 2 months but no communication yet. I really want to join my husband in Canada very soon as am tired of the waiting.
Is there anything we can do about the interview??
Will be happy to read more from you.
Regards.

Hey guys long time,
I've been busy getting my wife settled in the country for the past month and half.
Regarding the wait times, they don't know when those will be. My wife's interview wasn't till after June 2013 ( that's what they told me) i got t waived after sending more and more evidence that this isn't a fake marriage. Finally they waived it, Lool. So yeah call them and ask just for an estimate of when they think interviews will be done for your country and is there anything you can do to make it faster. Also, ask if you can bring her to kenya for an interview quicker.

Hi @ Samstar - do you know for sure that your interview was waived after sending more proof? In other words, it was scheduled and you sent more evidence and they waived it as a result of what you sent? Were you sending anything you thought was relevant or did they ask you to send specific items. And lastly what kinds of things did you send? I would really like to not have my husband deal with an interview, we have been together for 6 years but he has never been allowed to visit me in Canada so we have 4 refused TRVs on our file. Sigh.......any advice would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Hello Samstar,
Congratulations to you and your wife to be reunited finaly. Happy for you!!!
May be you can be a good guide to us who are still waiting for an interview date/time to be fixed. What can we do or how can we go over it?? If it means sending more information/documents to prove our marriage, what documents can we send? How do we send the documents, by courier or email?
Kindly help on this. Thanks
Wishing you the best moments in life with your dear wife.
