Hello everyone,

I wasn't able to find an answer in past threads, so I'm reluctantly starting a new one.

With some luck, I hope to be arriving in Canada in the coming months on a NAFTA work permit. I am a US citizen with a bachelor's degree in accounting, and I will be coming to Canada to be work as an accountant. Once in Canada, however, I will need to find a second full-time job. Is it permitted under this type of work permit to take on a second full-time job?

No - not permitted.

The work permit you will be issued at the border will be a closed work permit tied to one specific employer and job. It will not be an open work permit which would allow you to work for multiple employers.
