Good job Anil and good luck with your application. But why would it take 6 days to go to CIO from India via Fedex? I thought it must be earlier as i sent our PCC application to UK and it was delivered in 1 and a half days?
Thanks,
Indira Prabhakaran.

8) 8) 3rd Page....WOW 8) 8)

Hi Indira

I too got zapped...but later I realized.... it takes 3 days from here to CIO, NS. I did it yesterday evening...so 3/4 days means friday evening..... Sat & Sun will be off for Canada. Will be delivered on Monday morning :D :D.
So the lesson is ...FedEx latest by Tuesday morning to reach the courier in the same week... 8) 8) 8)
Cheers, Anil
BTW .... your details are requested for the latest spreadsheet. Thanks

.........

Hi Indira

99% form was filled on compu itself :D :D...I used a software Foxit, where you can even save. As for the font is concerned... it remains the same. To accommodate info like work experience and personal history (which requires more space) I just wrote SHEET ATTACHED 8) 8) 8) and attached the required sheets.
One information would like to pass on... that I faced..... I did everything in Foxit except 'Additional Family Information' as Foxit was typing it too small with a strikethrough like Anil, so typed/ printed the thing in pdf reader 9...couldn't save it!! 1% was where I have to write the names in Hindi.... and at one place I left the space...saw at the last moment... wrote 'Not Applicable'.
Hope it helped....
Cheers, Anil

Dear ND VO Guys,
I am posting the email i got today with reference to my query regarding sending PCC to ND VO..
I request all ND VO guys to please post here any email reply they get from CHC,New Delhi with respect to their FSW application queries.

........................................
Dear ***

I am replying to your email , concerning your Foreign Skilled Worker (FSW) application. I apologize for the delay in responding.

if you submitted your application to the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) after June 26, 2010, the entire file, including all your submitted documents, will be forwarded to the visa office for processing. You will not need to submit any additional documents unless specifically asked to do so by the visa office.
Thank you for writing. I trust that this information is of assistance.

Response to query regarding original transcripts....

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

The sealed transcripts must originate from and bear the seal of the educational institution which originally issued the transcripts. If the college, affiliated with the university, is the original issuer of the transcripts, you may submit the transcripts sealed by the college. If not, then you must obtain sealed transcripts from the university.

Universities in India are familiar with our requirements and have not, to date, refused to issue sealed transcripts. If you are unable to obtain sealed transcripts, you may submit notarized transcripts however, they will be subject to close scrutiny and the visa officer may still require sealed transcripts.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

Pls delete actual file no. column.
hope u will understand...

Dear Positive

Thanks for the advice.... I know this is a public forum....... :D :D If you have gone closely through my columns....I have clarified the meaning of each column ...... and everything has its own purpose ....
(1) I HAVE asked for the name .... with a smiley...not a compulsion, which means it is not a mandatory thing.
(2) I HAVE asked the file # .... again with a smiley, not the complete file # (70% details) .... so that the same can be compared at the later stage.... like whether they are considering file wise or on the basis of AOR or receipt or fee charging..... I have seen the advantages of writing the file # ....at a later stage you only may suggest me to put this column ...... ;) ;)
(3) I HAVE asked for the city .... it is possible that two or more applicants are from the same city ...then they may like to exchange / share views, ideas, experiences or can even meet.
(4) I understand that "these are confidential things, many people are not comfortable"..... but it again depends on individual preferences and as I said it is not mandatory (name column)....

And dear friend ...... I had gone through many other forums / blogs, their tabulated list, spreadsheets and their views .... that is the reason I took so much time to create this sheet with various columns ....... I am sure you may be knowing that I am a 2004 applicant too, thus know the importance of file #, therefore mentioned 70% :-)..... it may be a 10-11 alphanumeric ID... can provide 7 initial numbers.... Still if members feel that it should never exist I will delete it. I hope this will make many members happy ......

As you always remind - THINK POSITIVE.BEHAVE POSITIVE.LOOK POSITIVE
And lately added - Develop +Ve Beliefs
