MyCIC through GCKey down?

Since last night (about 14 hours ago) I haven't been able to login to mycic. When I click the "Continue to GCKey" button, it waits for clegc-gckey.gc.ca for a while and then quits (chrome says "err_empty_response"). Firefox can't get through either.

Am I the only one facing this problem?

I had the same issue yesterday at lunch time, for about an hour, couldn't access MyCIC. ECAS worked fine though.

I don't know exactly what is going on, but I've narrowed the possibilities.
The problem does not happen under Windows, only under Linux.

It doesn't seem to be caused by the browser, because it happens with chrome and firefox.

Everything was working fine two days ago. Since then, Ubuntu has been updated, so it may be related.

Until it's fixed, I'll have to boot Windows whenever I need to update my profile.

It suddenly happened frequently with others sites as well. I did some increasingly less specific searches and found a 4-year-old thread in some forum. Among many other suggestions, someone said "reboot your modern/router".

Problem solved. Don't ask me why, but it was the reason.
